How We Started
How We Started
Joey Poirier Construction Ltd. started in the early spring and summer of 2015. Being a red seal certified carpenter and having a passion for construction and renovation, I decided it was time to open my very own company. I began working on a business plan and by the end of the summer, Joey Poirier Construction Ltd was open for business. We started out small with only myself and a couple other workers but word spread quickly and as more and more work came our way I realized I needed to build a team around me. By 2018 we were up to 6 employees and had gone from only doing small jobs in the beginning to now also building new homes from the ground up. Fast forward a couple years to 2020 and we have doubled that staff to now 12 employees and still looking to hire more.

Since opening for business in 2015 we have gradually expanded the company with each passing year by adding the right people as they came along. Each team member is carefully selected based on skill set, personality and character. We all share the same passion and common goal to continuously satisfy our clients by providing good quality workmanship and trust worthy service. In doing so we can continue to grow as a company.
